I made this sketchbook with 120 pages of fine tooth surface Strathmore sketch paper, folded in half so the dimensions are 6 by 9. It is an elegant design using quality hand-marbled paper from England on the cover.

I bound this book using the long stitch method because it allows the book to lay flat. The dark thread I used was to be in contrast with the white pages and light pastel-coloured marbled paper.

I really loved the process of making this book, and I can’t wait until someone takes it home. It’s always fun to know that your work of art will be used to hold more works of art!
