The colour scheme of this notebook is a favourite of mine. I love how the browns of the owl imprint match so nicely with the deep red of the felt-like texture of the cover and patterned red interior paper.

Here’s another simple long stitch pattern, made with a light brown waxed thread, which I chose for its contrast against the red fabric and for how it matched with the owl imprint inside. The fabric for the cover has a felty texture—a little bit course and a little bit scratchy. Not recommended for households with pets, as this fabric will attract animal hair like crazy.

This notebook is 140 pages, lined for writing notes, ideas, and whatever else crosses your mind. As mentioned, the soaring owl imprint on the bottom outside corners of the paper are a mix of brown hues.
