This is one of the few notebooks that counts as a proper “journal” because the first page indicates it as such. I also used real marbled paper, made through the process of hydro dipping rather than simply printing a pattern. For the inside paper, I used a soft light blue to counter the busyness of the cover.

This notebook is a hardcover. The pages are attached using the long stitch method; I chose blue for the waxed embroidery floss because it stands out nicely against the marbled paper. The blue also matches some of the spots on the paper itself and pairs well with the light blue interior.

This book technically has 279 pages since the first page is reserved for identifying the owner of the journal.
