I’ve made a few wrap journals with this faux leather fabric, and I really like the look of the buttons for this reading journal.

This is my new reading journal design. It has no set timeline, leaving room for up to 240 books for you to review. Input basic information like the title, author, and characters, pus other information such as the dates you read the book, how many times you’ve read it, and any potential trigger warnings. I’ve added a few rating spaces for colouring in the number of stars for different aspects of the book, which will help you make your overall rating.

Since this is a softcover, only a few binding methods really work, as we don’t want to horizontally pinch the fabric. The long stitch method is the best suited, though I still had to be careful with the Coptic stitches at the top and bottom (making sure I didn’t pull it too tight). I used a light golden-brown thread to match the warm brown tones of the faux leather and buttons.
