Return to Notebooks...

Some notebooks are started with a clear intention, and others evolve as I’m working on them to become what they are. This notebook is one of the latter options. I knew I wanted to create something with a flower pattern, but it wasn’t until I dug through my collection of fabrics and found this one that this book came to life.

I once again used a cotton and viscose fabric blend for this cover. I’ve used a single piece to wrap around the whole book, and stitched it using the long stitch method, using white waxed thread so that it will stand out against the busy background. The long stitch pattern isn’t overly busy in comparison.

This notebook is another 200-page creation, with lines that are a bit wider and perfect for larger writing. The flower imprint in the top right and bottom left corners are a favourite of mine, and work so well with the soft fabric I used for the cover.
