I got this very soft green fabric in a new batch from my supplier and have been very excited to use it. You really have to feel it in person to understand its softness. I’m not sure what kind of fabric it actually is, but I know I’m a fan.

The book itself is another 240-paged one, dotted, since those seemed quite popular at my last market and I need to increase my stock. I chose brown for the spine and inside of the cover to match the “earth tone” elements of this book.

I didn’t have a big fancy plan for what I wanted to do with this book, so I chose the simple long stitch pattern again—a nice fallback. It’s elegant and suits this book well. I went with a subtle colour, dark brown on the slightly lighter brown spine paper. It’s understated, but a very beautiful book, if I do say so myself.
