This planner, or “day timer” was ordered by a woman who had very specific needs. She emailed me at the beginning of January, asking for a planner to include an hourly timer and a column for important tasks & notes. We had a few back-and-forth questions, and as soon as she was happy with the design, I began binding.

This book is a slightly different trim size than other books I’ve made. It’s only 7 inches wide, so I needed to specially cut the book board. I used the soft green suede leather for the outside, as requested, and put a deep green cardstock along the inside. She requested the book to be bound using the French Link stitch method, so I made sure to have a decent number of signatures (5), and I spread out the spine so the design would show nicely.
