This book was a custom Christmas present ordered by a lady I met at the 2024 Chilliwack Christmas Market. Her husband is an avid runner, so we worked together for a few weeks to lay out the perfect journal page for him to use. Once the design was to both of our liking, I got to work.

She chose a really dark blue sherpa fabric for the cover, and I paired it with a green leaf-patterned paper for the interior, which matches the forest-path imagery I included on the book’s opening page. We went with white waxed thread in a simple longstitch pattern on the spine.
