Here is a reading journal in this style—I’m quite proud of how it turned out.
This book was designed with avid readers in mind. You can review up to 240 books—with no set timeline. Along with the basic information like the title, author, and characters, there is room for potential trigger warnings, read dates, and star ratings for different aspects of the book (the plot, characters, relationships, and overall).
Once again I’ve used the chain stitch method, but I’ve found I prefer fewer signatures in this style. Not only does it take less thread and time to create, it gives the stitch a bit of breathing room so you can really appreciate the beauty of it. The cover is once again made with linen for the front and back and a sturdy yet flexible leather for the spine. For the inside, I used an elegant stationary paper. To finish it off, I added a little stripe of leather across the front of the book.
