Some people use Goodreads or other websites to track the books they’ve read, but others may like to record it simply for themselves. Here’s where the reading journal comes in. I designed the pages myself to include information that seems relevant to every book, including characters, tropes, length, and even a section for trigger warnings (which have become more common at the beginning of books nowadays).

I bound this book using the case binding method, and therefore stitched the signatures together using a French link stitch using just a simple white thread, then glued the text block into the cover. The fabric is a soft red velvet with a stripe of white leather across the bottom for decoration and texture variety.

Since this book has no suggested timeline for reading, it’s perfect even for book lovers who don’t have a lot of time to read. It has 280 pages to last you a long time. Each page includes space for you to give technical details such as the title, author, version (hardcopy, eBook, or audiobook), whether it’s part of a series, and a place to sketch the cover if you’d like, but also more personal details, such as when you started reading, finished reading, if you’d read it again, and more. The bottom leaves an area for other notes you may have about the book.
