I like the elegant casebound look, so I decided to try another with this orange-brown leather. It’s a somewhat scuffed and creased leather, which I think gives the book character.

I stitched it once again with the white waxed thread, then glued it in with end pages of the same paper as the book itself. I also tried something a little different with the pages; I trimmed the outside edge after gluing it in, then sanded the edge smooth. This method gives it a little bit of a different look.

The texture of this book is smooth and supple, and it has a neutral air with a nice rustic feel. It is a guided journal focused on helping you identify and express more gratitude for the things you have. Gratitude is a daily practice that helps you build a better outlook and lifestyle.
