For this book, I used some decorative paper for the cover instead of fabric or leather. The elegance of the pattern is soothing, and paired well with the plain black cardstock I used for the spine and the pale green I used for the end sheets.

Since this book is casebound, I stitched the spine with waved thread using the French link stitching method, then added a layer of glue to the spine for stability and glued on the end sheets, which then attach the text block to the cover.

This book is 280 pages of dotted cream Strathmore paper with an imprint of blue flowers on the bottom outside corners of the spread. The dotted design means you can use this book for writing, designing, sketching, or doodling!
