This lined notebook is a fiery burst of red—deep red wool and nylon fabric blend for the cover and bright red construction paper separating the signatures. The half-window on the front and back covers add a bit of dimension to the design.

The dimensions of this hardcover are 5 by 8 inches, and it holds 140 plain lined pages in addition to five sheets of red construction paper. The separation makes this the perfect notebook to use for different parts of your life—like dividers in a binder.

The interior paper, a sheet of white construction paper, shows through the slots cut out of the cover, whereas the red paper shows through the gap in the spine. This gap is a key component of the buttonhole stitch, which I’ve used for this book.
