I’ve once again used the buttonhole stitch for this book, which works by stitching the top of the spine, then the bottom of the spine, leaving a gap in the middle where the pages show through.

This fabric is incredibly soft, and I loved the pattern, so I wanted to match it with the section breakers. There are five signatures, each with forty pages and either a blue or a green outer paper. I used a plain white waxed thread for a bit of contrast on the dark fabric and to not draw attention away from the rest of the design.

This book has 200 lined pages, trimmed to 5 by 8 inches. The lines are decently spaced at 16 pt. The lack of image in the bottom or top corners of the page gives it a neutral feel; it can be used for any occasion.
